After the release of v5, the Fit to Contents button no longer seems able to cope with images that are an odd number of pixels wide or high.

When given an odd sized graphic, clicking on Fit to Contents will make the image vary in size by a pixel, and move slightly around the page.

In the same way, when dissolving on an odd sized image, the image will resize to an even number for the duration of the dissolve.

Both the above used to work fine in v4.... can they be fixed again, please?

Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,

I tried this and note that the Fit-to-Contents does not size correctly with odd pixel images. The image looks fine...just that the boundary box is one pixel extra. I don't get it moving around the page, but I may not be setting things up the same as you. :?:

With your experience I've guess you've already tried this, but what happens if you use "Fixed" on the Image Properties tab, instead of "Scale to Fit"? (I'm hoping the former may be a solution for you)

Which transition are you using to 'dissolve' the image?

I have also noticed that fit to size does not properly work and text justify also no longer works.
