Is this an error in the Help Files?

The Help Files, after a search for Close provides this information:

To Close a publication:

1. Click on the File menu, then select the Close option. The publication will automatically close.

Note:

If you have not saved your publication before closing, a warning dialog box will appear asking if you want to save it. If you are saving the publication for the first time, you will be asked to give the publication a name.

When I click Close, the current page closes -- and nothing else happens. The publication does not close -- at least on my system. No warning appears about saving unsaved work after I specifically ensured that I had unsaved items.

I'm wondering if I have an older version of the Help Files. I downloaded Opus Pro XE 5.14 about 4 weeks ago, so I just assumed that the latest Help Files would be included.

Hi Ray,

It seems the HELP FILE needs updating in this area. (HELP version dated 10th May 05)

On the File Menu, in part referring to your query, you should have the following options...

- New
- Open
- Browse Sample Publications
- Close
- Close Publication
- Revert Publication

If you move the mouse over these options, reference is given in the Status Bar. The "Close" option just closes the active page in the workspace. (I don't remember what 04.x had?) You won't lose and unsaved work; it just closes the workspace window. The options that the HELP refers to, will work if you click on the "Close Publication" option.

I have the Opus Pro XE 05.00 CD version, and updated with the SR (05.14) patch. So I am not sure if the direct 05.14 download version is slightly different. I think only DW can confirm this. :?:
