The help Menu states that Bilinear Resample is:

An option if you want to use a high quality resampling method to improve the quality of resized or rotated images in your finished publication. Note that this option is slightly slower than a normal resize.

What does this exactly mean. One thing I've noticed is that it makes a picture or graphic look better.

If you have an image and put it into an Opus image object the exact size of the original image Opus does not have to resize it. Therefore the quality should be as good as the original image. This is the best option.

If you use an image that is a different size to the Opus image object and do not use the fixed option, Opus will resize the image to fit the image object. There are two types of resample Opus can do:

1. Normal

Advantage of this is speed
Downside is quality will not be as good as Bilinear Resample.

2. Bilinear Resample

Advantage better Quality
Downside slower when previewed in the editor.

Hope this helps
