I have just launched our new website - http://www.kinetic.gb.com

The site allows visitors to download PDFs from our website e.g. go to Free Assessments and then click on one of the four options. It calls the Launch Web Page command and points at the PDF. This works perfectly on both my machines but does not always work with some of my friend's computers as it just pops up a window with Page Not Found in it.

Is this something to do with Browser settings or firewalls? Would be grateful if anyone could help

Thank you for your enquiry.

I have tested your web site on a number of different system configurations, but the links to the PDF files work as expected. This would suggest that the problem is related to user permissions or an incorrect configuration of Adobe Reader.

What happens if your friend tries to access one of the PDF files directly (i.e; without going through the main site)?

If visiting http://www.kinetic.gb.com/ContactCentreTechnologyAssessment(Free).pdf also throws up the error, I would recommend uninstalling all versions of Adobe Reader (or Acrobat Reader) from the machine, then installing the very latest version of Adobe Reader 6.0 which is available from http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to see if this resolves the issue.
