I am having real trouble getting my head around how to set-up and score a text-input question (even though I am using the Wizard)

Could someone kindly post an example so I can see how it is done?

Many thanks in anticipation

Phil

You need some kind of trigger to activate an action after the answer is entered.
I've put together a simple publication for you to have a look at.
I've found the wizards are quite handy at times but I do prefer to create my own quiizzes from scratch because the wizards variables are hardwired in and can't be altered whereas doing my own gives me some control.
Have a look at the attached and don't hesitate to ask questions.
Cheers
Graham

Good evening Graham, or should I say morning.
Thank you very much for this, it is just what I was looking for. I will keep you posted as to how I get on.
I have to say I do envy you down there in Oz given that it's cold, dark, wet and miserable here in the UK.I'm told (by my boss) you live in a really beautiful part of the world.

Thanks again

Phil.

Phil,

Digital Workshop provides some excellent quiz templates. These can be loaded using the menu items, Components | Load Galleries. Look in the Question folder. There are several different formats, including drag and drop, multiple choice, and true or false.

Find attached a quiz created using the Galleries samples that comes with Opus.

Many thanks Leo for taking the time to respond to my question, it is much appreciated.
I have however managed to master the True/False, Multiple Choice, Image, Drop & Drag questions it was just the text input one I couldn't get a handle on - although I 'think' I am ok now.
What I would also be interested in is seeing some of the work you guys do with Opus (I know there is a section on the Message Boards but not everyone contributes) to benchmark the quality and professionalism of what I am producing. My work is short product training programmes for the company I work for.
Take care and thanks again
Phil.

PS Another stunning part of the workd I believe!
