Hi
Has anyone developed a way to allow the viewer to select and drag/drop multiple objects at the same time?
I've been working on a diagram maker which has a drop field into which the viewer clones, drags and drops multiple vector objects. If the viewer, after placing many of these, wishes to move a group, rather than individual item, to another location within the drop field, they have to move each item separately-quite a labor intensive task.
Is there a way to allow the viewer to select/frame multiple items that can then be moved together? Since the items are cloned and placed into the diagram by viewer's choice, there is no way to frame/group them in advance, since their number and grouping is unknown at publication.
I think what I'm looking for is a viewer-operated "select" feature, which may have to be a wishlist item (unless this can be scripted currently).
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
