I have two questions on triggers and actions.

1) The first is about dragging and dropping the triggers from the right hand panel into the left. Whenever I attempt this, the drag seems to work OK but when I drop, it just disappears

2) The above means that I use a double click to put the triggers in place (no problem in itself). When I wish to use several triggers for different actions (eg. Mouse over - show a label, mouse exit - hide the label, mouse click - goto page) I find that the second and subsequent triggers get placed as if they were multiple triggers for a single action. I then have to delete the trigger and try again when it gets placed correctly. That's no great hassle but I can't help feeling I'm missing something somewhere. :? Can anyone help me please?

PS I am uing the demo version of Opus Headstart (I'll have to purchase it in a few more days!)

For speed, I use the double-click method to assign Triggers and Action. The "key" is to first highlight in the LEFT box/window the item you want and then double-click the Trigger you want to use in the RIGHT window.

To add a different Trigger, make sure you have highlighted the top most item (which should be the named Object), then double-click a second Trigger. If you mistakenly have your first Trigger highlighted, then it will become a Multi-Trigger (as you described) because OPUS thinks you want it that way.

The same applies for Actions. You MUST highlight the Trigger you want to add an Action to before double-clicking anything in the Action list (right window). Otherwise, the Action will be added to the bottom of the list of Triggers/Actions you've selected on the left.

After you've made selections for the left window, you can drag Actions to different Triggers. The order of your Triggers doesn't matter.

For Advanced Users, you can make Actions Simultaneous or Consecutive. Go to the Programming Tab and select your choice, then arrange your Actions in the proper order. In this situation, the order of your Actions is critical.

Hope that helps.

It does, indeed, help Demofred - thanks very much. It also pointed me to the answer to the first of my questions. Thanks again.
