hy everyone,

now I am trying opus pro 4 the evaluation copy, I have noticed the text looks like out of focus, not well defined like the opus 2.81,
I know there is something called antializing, how I should use it in order to have the clearest text?

cheers
sherif

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The new text engine in Opus Pro 04 supports 'anti-aliasing', which basically blends the edges of text characters with the background to eliminate the 'jaggies' commonly associated with rounded letters. More information regarding anti-aliasing can be found at http://www.widearea.co.uk/designer/anti.html

Although anti-aliased text is usually preferable to normal text, there are instances, particularly when using small fonts or working to certain design styles, where you do not want the text to be anti-aliased in this way. You can therefore disable anti-aliasing using the following steps:

- Right-click on the text object
- Select Properties
- Select the Text tab
- Set the 'Antialiasing' setting to 'None'
- Click Apply and OK

The text should now match your requirements.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Kind regards,
