A good client wants me to build a small presentation which will reside on their Intranet. I had already built the presentation for CD-ROM distribution when the decision was made to go "web" instead.

I've had to rebuild most of this presentation because so many features (like shadows and fancy Border - Buttons) aren't available in Flex. I was getting 248 WARNING messages when I'd Pub, so that gave me a "clue" to start again, with a much simplier presentation. It's fine now.

One thing I need is Bullet points. They worked fine in Preview, but when I Pub, they are missing. Can anyone tell me if ANY type of OPUS Bullet Points will work? I used diamonds and solid circle. If they don't what about a Special Character which I'd Copy & Paste from the Character Generator? Are they possible in Flex?

Fred you can use a special character that will work fine.

What I did was created some text in one textbox and then created another text box to hold the "bullet" point. Both these boxes were Time New Roman, though I'm sure it will work with other fonts.
The bullet point is created by holding down the ALT key and then entering 0149 on the numeric keypad.
Then I group both into a group in a frame. This way you should be able to reveal as necessary and maintain the wrapping on the long text box.

Hope this helps.

Brian --

Thanks! I successfully tried the Windows Character Map so I can see what characters will look like. I do a COPY & PASTE into my Text Object, but your idea for separate Objects can look very nice!
