Another animation problem!

I have path animations and various show object actions attached to a button.
I need to be able to stop/reset these animations at will (probably by using another button which replaces the first once the animation is running).

However, I don't seem to be able to stop the animations.
The button I use does everything else I want it to - hides various objects, etc., but it won't stop a path animation!

I notice that on the "Stop Animation" tab that Path Animation is not listed.

Has anyone any ideas on this. please?

Chris

Chris,

you will find an example of Steve's animation pause/stop feature at Chris Jones' web site in the Ilm/Opus section, titled: Animation Path Pause

Thanks Leo, I've downloaded that example and I'll have a play around.
My problem seems to be stopping and resetting.

More specifically, it seems that if after pressing a button you have delayed actions, then they'll be anticipated and will continue despite having reset the animation.

Anyone at DW got any thoughts?

If I set in train animation actions with delays, is there any way I can use a button to stop the activity and reset before all the actions have taken place or started (without resetting the page!)?

Chris
