Already mentioned in part on this forum in the FAQ section, I found a slightly different problem with QTv7. The one thing that I couldn't do with QTv7 was import any QT content (VR or plain old .mov). QT (even VR) content imported when running QTv6 worked without a problem when viewed with QTv7 but re importing the exact same content when running QTv7 failed (locked up when clicking on the apply button).

The solution of course, roll back to v6.

Has there been a fixed issued for quicktime 7 yet?

QuickTime VR support for external applications was broken in QuickTime 7.0. With our help Apple fixed it for 7.1

For more details, please see the posts in FAQ forum.

Hope this helps.
