I have set some variables on a certain page as page variables. Now I want to use these variables as publication variables insteadt. I tried to change the variable status within the page properties and in the publication properties but it seems that this can not be done there.

Is it generally not possible to change the status (publication vs. page) of a variable or is this possible in another way?

T.

It is not possible to automatically change the status of a variable. Simply delete it from the page and create a new one in the publication.
