In a multi-module Flex publication, one of the buttons launches an HTML page in a separate window - it's a phrasebook and it's important to keep it separate so that the user can close it and go back to where they were in the course. It's worked fine for over a year, but now the client says it won't open and he gets a message "pop up blocked on this page", even though (he says) the pop-up blocker on his browser is off. I find that on my PC, with IE's pop-up blocker ON and set to Medium, it's still fine, although it won't work if set to High.

Any ideas? Thanks, Adrian

I suspect that IE has auto-updated to the latest version which locks down many potential security holes and annoyances.

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do from the Opus/Flash/web side (if there was there wouldn't be much point having a security setting!) You will have to advise the customers to allow popups for the affected domains.

Thanks, Duncan. The client has now worked out that this must be the problem and that I can't do much about it. Cheers, Adrian
