Despite upgrading to Quick Time V.7.1 the supposedly bug fixed release I'm still having problems importing .mov content. Everything locks up after the file to be imported is selected (either QTVR or bog standard movies). Ctrl>Alt>Del is the only way of starting again. I'm using QT 7.1 Pro to edit movie files but it looks as if I'm going to need to roll back to v6 if I want to be able to import them!

Any ideas whats causing the problem?

I will second that for problems occuring with this format. Yesterday I tried several different QTVR .mov files. One locked up every time and another was very slow and had sporadic issues. They work perfectly outside of Opus.

Don't you just love it when you discover that the reason you are having problems is your own stupidity?

The answer to this problem is that Opus won't import QT files if they are set to be displayed as 'rendered' they need to be imported as something else then rendered.

Ah...the sound of one hand clapping....
