I've just upgraded to Opus Pro (5.5). On earlier versions of Presenter & Pro i recall a problem when choosing an option when starting a new publication to expand to fit screen resolution size. I recall that drop frames for drag&drop activities didn't match exactly. As a compromise I worked in 800x600 and had to put up with the border when used on a 1024x768. What about Opus Pro (5.5)? I would rather design pages at 1024x768. If I work on 1024x768 resolution will my pages automatically resize (with accurate drop zones) when used at 800x600. I notice that there is no reference to the option resize to fit any screen size any more.

I could test this myself but I might get a quick response to save me the trouble!

Lack of response seems to imply that you cannot get Opus to resize publication automatically to user's screen size resolution (from 1024x768 to 800x600). Is that the case Digital Workshop?

Publications can be scaled up or down to fit the available screen size. Look at the General properties tab for the Chapter.

A related observation FYI. We had had issues with some users attempting to launch a publication on hardware set to 256 colours (ie as it comes from the suppliers - perfectly capable of being reset to 16-bit colour). Depending on other factors, they may then get a white rectangle in place of the pub window, and they always get a message about memory not being 'read'.

I had hoped to get round this by including a Pre-Show action on the first page to conditionally change the depth - which I had gathered from the forum would be just for the duration of the pub. However even this was too late and the pub still aborted.

Workaround: include 16/32-bit colour as a pre-requisite in the release notes!
