I've loaded Opus Pro 5 on my computer but whenever I try and run it I can only get as far as the splash screen which says 'Loading version information'. I've downloaded the update files from the web.

Can you tell us about your computer please?

What type of cpu, how much memory and os.

Also, just check to see how much hard drive space you have as well.

Also please tell us what you have done to try to fix the problem and finally whether you downloaded Opus from DW or used a cd to install.

The more information you can provide, the more likely someone here can assist you accurately and quickly.

Thanks
Graham

There must be some Security Software on you computer which is preventing OPUS from running.

Take a look here in the BASIC section of this Forum, for Grazie's post on "What is the Maxium Screen Fill." It turns out some Security Software wasn't allowing OPUS to work. Once OPUS was "cleared" to function, it solved the problem. I think you'll find your situtation is similar.

I haven't changed any settings but now it seems to work OK.
