I suppose this may look like trying to get my work done for me, but since I believe this would be useful to the community in general I want to place it in play.

I am putting together a desktop for a training center. It has a breaktimer, course materials, day/date/time, etc. I'd like to have a notice board that would have the daily agenda on it. Best way for this would be to have a daily text file read in. In pseudocode:

If date/date = today
DISPLAY = agenda.rtf

Seems simple enough, but in looking at parsing the variables involved I could quite see what to compare the system clock to in order to verify that it is today without declaring a whole host of possible strings.

Any thoughts?

Dave
