In 281 we could select an object that was hidden behind another object by holding down ALT and clicking over where the hidden object was located.

I swapped the new keyboard for an old one, and everything works as it should.

What happened to the quality of componets?

If I'm reading the time stamp on your posting -- only three minutes elapsed between your first post and your cancelling the question because you found a faulty keyboard. That's got to be a world record! I think Linda used to do that -- ask a question, then give herself the answer, but never that fast (ha ha).

Glad you found the problem was the keyboard. I flip mine over and tap on it to get all the hair and dandruff to fall out (that's probably more than you wanted to know-- sorry).

You are correct that you can use the Alt key and click over a buried object to select it. Another way is to highlight it in the Organizer, then use a right mouse click to open the menu in order to pick Properties or Actions.

It maybe awhile before someone breaks this new World's Record.

This issue has been bugging me for weeks. I had just about decided that the problem must be with a new (expensive) keyboard, so I'd brought an old one back into the office and had it on standby.

I meant to try swapping, but got distracted with that screen resolution and resizing issue. So, when it annoyed me again, I posted and forgot the swap-out. Immediately after I posted I remembered the swap, and with USB connections, it takes no time at all.

So, it only looks like a world record. If I claimed it, I think I'd be swabbed and banned from competition.
