Hello everyone !

I have used previous tryout versions of Opus (or Illuminatus). One thing that bothers me with all past versions: it was not possible to use "real" transparent images (like 8bit tga channels). Instead it was only possible to use one color as the transparent one.

Is it possible in a newer version to use 8bit transparent pictures ? Has it full tga format support ? (or dds).

Best regards !

Opus does support alpha channel transparency and should be able to read them from TGA files, however I would recommend using the PNG format instead. They support a full alpha channel and are preferable to TGA - they are smaller and don't have as many strange versions that may not import correctly.

Use a paint package or image converter to save your images as PNG format and all will be fine.
