Whilst I agree that a Browser Object and a converted HTML page is a viable option - you still have to save both text and graphics. With pdf there is of course just the one file, the display size can be scaled to whatever dimensions you like and you still see the whole document. Cute PDF is free
(link) and handles any document that can be printed. FlashPaper is of course not free, but, it is very, very good and also allows conversion of any document to pdf as well as swf.
