I just downloaded the updated help file from the DW support page, but I don't really know how to deal with it. How do you install it. Just copy it into the Opus programme folder ? - but then it would overwrite the existing help file which is much larger :?

Just overwrite the old ones - they are larger simply due to being compiled without compression by accident. The new versions contain the same content (and corrections!).

Saw the posting on a new HELP file, but I'm not finding it at www.digitalworkshop.com, and www.digitalworkshop.co.uk doesn't seem to be working (did it break again, or has that URL been shut down?).

Please let me know where to find this newest HELP file download.

Suggestion #1: This board should have a link on the Main Page back to DW's website, especially if that's where downloads are stored. Would it be possible to also have Service Releases and Notes available here? We don't need evaluation copies here. If you are on this board, you already have OPUS or an Eval copy of OPUS.

Suggestion #2: Could you set up another Section just for Scripting questions?

Klaus --

Thanks for the link and info on what to download. I unzipped the file into the OPUS 04 directory, which probably over wrote old files with similar names. The OPUS.hlp file is dated 11/01/2004. I then checked my OPUS XE 04 and see the OPUS.hlp file is dated 11/09/2004, so that must be a newer set of help files...

I'm hoping DW gives us a link from this message board to the download section on their main site.

The Pro and Pro XE help files are different files (although they have the same name for technical reasons)- do not overwrite the Pro XE one with the revised Pro one. Pro XE was released at the the same time as SR2 and so both are the most recent help files for their respective products. The revised help only relates to SR2 - which is not for XE since that is already at the same level.
