Hi people,

I have a large video-object which fits a part of the layout. Because the video's which are loaded don't always have exactly the same dimensions, I made the video object slightly bigger than the viewing area by placing it a little behind some parts of the interface.

Now when I set it to Scale to Fit and Keep Aspect Ratio, and using Chroma Key, the video will nicely scale behind the interface if needed, slightly clipping a part of it.

This works fine except for the fact that the video's "jump" to the correct scale about a second after loading. So the video loads "scaled to fit" and after a second it seems to "keep aspect ratio".

When I use "On Top"-videotype (so Windows Media Player) it works great. Performance is also a lot better and it starts playing in the correct size right away.
The only problem with that mode is that it stays on top and so can't be moved behind parts of the interface. So I can't use that mode.

Does anyone have a good solution for this? (Ofcourse I could make the video's the exact good size, but that is not an option in my case).

BTW: I added a GSpot screenshot from one of the video's. I think we just use "normal" codecs.

Thanks in advance
