Hi

With help from Forum colleagues, and on a steep learning curve for databases, I've gotten a sample together, a new version of which is attached for testing. It has a variety of buttons for DB functions. While a sample Access .mdb file (with fictitious names and details) is included in the zip folder, viewing the .imp will require establishing the DSN connections linked to 3 queries for this file.

As can be seen, my first attempt using only Opus standard DB actions, is somewhat awkward. I suspect that Forum colleagues testing it may find flaws and some of the actions inoperable.

So, I'm hoping others will put the sample through rigorous testing and comment on how I can improve it, within my yet limited need to rely on standard actions, rather than scripting.

Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,

Hi Jim

I deleted the attachment and replaced it with another copy of the zip folder with the /imp and /mdb inside. I double-checked by downloading the zip folder that is currently attached to the posting. When unzipped on my desktop, it has both the .imp and .mdb files inside the unzipped folder.

I'm unsure what else I can do to share the file. Please advise if the new zip folder does not have both files inside.

(One option would be for you to send me your email address, and I can attach the zip folder to a return email to you. My email address is below.)

Kind Regards,
