hy ,

1- I would like to know if the opus v6 early bird version it is a final version or there will be some updates...

2- is it stable like v5.5? I want to update to v6 but my project is complex so i am scared that updating from v5.5 will mess up everything..

3- is it possible for example in page A to click a button and recall an object from another page , for ex. page B without going in page B?,
so I can work in page A and recall many object from different pages , page A B C 1 2 5 7 etc etc,...

4-In page A there are 10 buttons , how can I use left or right arrow keyboard key to move on these buttons, and when I am over a button
I can press enter or any key and activate that button?
I know you can do it with the multiframe option ,
Is there any way to do it WITHOUT MULTIFRAMES?

5-a strange question..., who was the first inventor of opus or illuminatus?

thanks.

1. Don't know

2. I'm currently in the same situation. I've published one of my complex projects and am re-testing it. So far no problems - in fact - i'd swear that it runs better having been published in VI. As for Opus itself, I've had a couple of niggles but I think that's more to do with my machine. Nothing that has caused me to lose work though.

3. Not sure what you mean?

4. Yes, assign the key press to inc / dec a variable and then use and if statement for the for the return key press. You could also drop in some code that highlights the current button for each value of your variable.

5. Again don't know, but I'll be sure to by them a pint if I bump into them in the pub :-)

2- So far no problems with pubs made in versions 4 and 5, but problems with text from v2.

3- Yes. One method I use is: Open a new chapter (you'll need one for every different size page you want to display on top of you current main page. Check out Chapter Properties > Display in new window > Fill in parameters that suit you. You could display several pages from different chapters. Read the Help files.

Another possibility might suit you. Proceed as above, but select Display in Publication Pane, You should definitely read the Help files on this!

4- In Opus, there are generally several ways to achieve the same result. What you want might be complex because it seems that you would need to find a way to set the focus on the button that you want. I'm sure that the scripting gurus might be able to suggest a solution, but that's way above my scripting ability.

If you've found a way using multiframes to achieve what you want, why make life more difficult for yourself? :)
