Hi

I've got a publication variable - a number variable - that's initially set to zero.

On a page I want the user to enter a new value for this variable, and am using the text input box to store the variable, updating for each key stroke

My problem is that when I preview the page, the user has a value of zero shown, and has to delete that to enter a new value. Is there any work-around so that they don't have to delete the zero - a way of not showing the zero in the first place? I'm sure it must be possible but I can't find a simple solution!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Paul

Hi Paul

I attached a sample .imp. Is this what you are trying to accomplish?

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Hi

Thanks very much! It's exactly what I needed, and after spending a few hours trying to work it out, and then a few more hours searching through old posts to see if anyone else had had a similar problem, you've given me exactly what I need!

Thanks again,

Paul
