Hi

I am working on a Flex pub that synchronizes sound to a vector object. While the sound previews OK, played in runtime in a desktop Flash player (player 6), the sound is 95+% inaudible. In runtime in a PDA Flash player (FlashLite 2.1), there is no sound.

The same sound files used (an Opus resource sound files: .ogg drum 01 and .ogg drum 03), whether converted to .wma, .wav or mp3 for the PDA, or including .ogg for the desktop player as well, all play fine as separate audio files, when not included in the Flex pub. So, it appears to be a problem in Flex publishing, not an audio file issue.

In sum, I can't get a Flex runtime pub to play sound even though using the Opus resource .ogg files or these files converted to .wma, .wav or mp3.

I've attached a sample illustrating this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,
