I have a Pub thats takes like 1 1/2 minutes to load and i can't figure out why . The Pub is only 2.2 megs and this is just unsatisfactory.....

I have a dual core AMD + 5,000 2 gig of ram and it acts this way on all comps no matter what speed . It almost like its looking for something...

Al

I have pubs of 200mb and they load in a couple seconds.
We need more information to give useful advice.

we don't know what's in it but you do.
Is it trying to load a video or sound file, what do you think it could it be waiting for?

Can you post the publication to see if it happens on another set-up?.
Without any details of the publication, there are so many possibilities, but one thing you can do is make a backup, then start dismantling the publication to see what's causing the problem.

other things I do when I get odd behavior with OPUS:-

Reinstall Opus :-)

Reset the Opus Registry by:-

Click the shortcut/icon for OPUS, then immediately hold down your ALT and CLT keys until you see a window which asks if you want to RESET the OPUS Registry.
