I'm trying to get a menu frame to appear on screen when moused over. When not being used 80% of the menu slips out of the publication to the RHS of the screen. When I need to navigate I want to mouse over the visible 20% and have the rest slide out from hiding. Trouble is the menu wobbles when the cursor goes over it's 80% hidden part (i.e. when the cursor is OUTSIDE the pub window but OVER the hidden 80%).
And the menu continues to walk across the screen when the cursor moves in and out of the frame. Tried scripting (MoveX) and animation paths, both have the same problem.

So:

Is there a way to make the hidden 80% (outside of the pub window) invisible to the cursor as it passes over it? Tried vector on top.

Is there a way to stop the menu frame moving outside a certain area, no matter how many times the mouse goes over it?

Thanks

Hi Peter,

Not sure if this is what you're trying to achieve, but...

Hi mackavi

This is a big improvement, but there's still the issue about it juddering back and forth when the cursor is near it, but not in the publication window. I guess it's stuck in a loop as the cursor moves in and out of the edge quickly. For the time being it'll do.

Thanks

Peter

Sorry Peter,

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you want the menu NOT to activate when the mouse cursor is outside the visible page?

Mack
