I'm guessing that Duncan from DW wrote this
It demonstrates both the power and diversity of Opus - as ours (Interaktiv's) works in a different way - using percentages and calculating offsets inside frames.
Mark, as Oscar says - you're limited by imagination when it comes to building publications. There seems little that Opus cannot achieve when you consider that you have a powerful visual design interface - access to ECMA scripting, PHP, SQL, DLLs & SCORM in one package.
A few pointers for the video issue:
MPEG1 is probably the best solution if you want to keep things simple. It's been part of Windows since 98SE. AVI IMHO is best avoided.
If you are simply using a video display, rather than any overlay effects, borders, etc - then switch the video mode to On-Top.
