I have set up a variable where my students can enter information about words that they do not understand and then click a button and email it to me.

Some of my students use mail programs like freemail and Gmail, where they do not use a mail program to send and receive their mails, is there anyway I can set this up so they can launch the program and then the variable is inserted into the mail and sent to me?

Maybe you can link the Opus pub to an html page with a contact form on it and have the students enter the info on the contact form instead of on the Opus pub.

update: no, this won't work. I forgot that .php files need to run from a server.
