Hi, long shot, I've used Opus Pro now for over a year, and I have a new use for it, I'm not sure it's possible though.

What I'd like to be able to do is load in a picture in to a picture box, have the user edit some text in a text box over laid on top, then have an export button to save the picture an text together as a new file.

We have different backgrounds for user groups at our school, and I'd like to be able to add static messages to the backgrounds, I have been adding the text in MS Paint, but it's clumsy and it won't always be me that updates the background.

Do you think this is possible? I guess I'm looking for a screen dump at object level sort of thing.

Many thanks , Kurt

There is also a script to copy an object to clipboard, then you can use a command line utility to save the clipboard to file. An example is http://f0kin.net/cmdtools/clipboard2bmp.exe, but this saves the image as a bitmap(bmp) ...but it works OK. There will be others around which save to jpg.

Sandy

Hi Sandy, bmp is fine, that is my target file type, saves any artifacting of the desktop picture then.
I will take a look at this - many thanks, Kurt
