I have read here that only the questions not asked, are the stupid ones. Then I made up my mind and try to get answer(s) to my questions.... :?

I've made a little "software" piece (see the attachment) where the aim is to find 6 errors in the right picture. This works fine until a person press twice or more at each error. I put in a variable to control that, but it doesn't really works. And worser, I can't figure out what's wrong. :(

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you.

Unfortunately the resources don't upload with the imp making it a little difficult to play.

But, if I understand correctly, then the simple solution would be to hide the box that has been clicked to prevent it from being clicked again?

Balnes,

welcome to the forum.

It's hard to follow (for me) what the logic is. (Not your fault. I started with standard Opus actions and then went more into Opusscript... so I have a hard time seeing the progression.)

What might help you though is that Opus has a way to monitor what is going on. If you are logged into the forum you will see the attachment/jpg image.

In Opus Editor, go to the Menu "View" and open the Script Console. Then when you preview your Pub... right-Click in that Console under "Variable Watch" tab. Select each of the variables you've created. You will see your logic working in Preview mode (F5).

I suspect you really just want to test for ' > zero ' (if you do not care if they choose an item multiple times). Otherwise, just remember that Opus presents you MANY different ways to solve or do something.

You could also explain in words the steps a User takes and what you expect to happen at each step. Then others here might see something very quickly to help you.

Good luck.

Couldn't you just disable the object?

Thank you for the quick response and helpful hints.
I suspected that I not sent the resources and I'll send the now.
I also send the full little program som yo kan see how it works.
You'll see that if yo prees twice at the error "fields" on the right picture, the "FLOTT" (as GREAT), will be shown at at the eleventh click and not at the twelth. The variable finnfel is still 5 when FLOTT appear, and I can't find out why. The program itself isn't worth much, but I want to understand the principles to make better programs. I'm a special educator and need a lot of small, simple software pieces. I feel that OPUS is the "best fit"-tool to do so.

Thanks for helping.

Thanks to you I've got the solution! :D
And this at a much easier way than I thought was possible. Very nice.
I thougt that the HIDE command just was a visual command, but now I experienced that I can control my variables this way too.
Great! :P
