I am accustomed to machines where Autorun fails because of the security settings. Double clicking the Opus icon that appeared on the relevant drive in My Computer did the trick and started the pub. But now doing that on my machine merely opens the folder/directory, so the user is presented with all the contents and no obvious way to start the pub. I suspect this may be due to a Windows or McAfee update. Has anyone else found this problem? Is there a solution other than by embedding the videos, which always seems to slow down the start-up?
Cheers, Adrian

Thanks for the reply.

I use Opus Pro v6.4, but this would not seem to be relevant as the problem occurs with all my Opus pubs, some of which were produced 5 years ago with earlier versions.

My desktop PC runs XP which is on automatic update - Home version 2002 with Service Pack 3.

My laptop, which does not exhibit the same problem runs XP Home version 2002 with Service Pack 2.

The failure to start has only appeared in the last month or so.

Adrian
