Objects with a transparency effect set don't seem to reset correctly when using a Got Page: Cuurrent(Reset) action.

It works correctly in preview but not when published standalone.

I noticed this in my seesaw publication mentioned in another thread and was able to recreate it in the attached pub as shown.

1) Create a vector object.
2) On the Normal state set a transparency of 50.
3) On the Disabled state set a transparency of 0
4) Set a click action on the vector which disables it.
5) Add a button with a Reset Page action attached.

This should produce a page with an initially 50% transparent vector. When you click the vector it is disabled and the transparency goes to zero.
Clicking the button should reset the page and show the object in its normal, active state of 50% transparency.

But doesn't work once published.

Pub and exe attached.

Note to add that it doesn't happen when published to Flex either--works correctly then.

Hi Leiafee,

It seems like the 'disable object' is not being refreshed in regards to Appearance States.

The quickest workaround is to add an "Enable Object" action just before the Goto Page (Reset) action.

Thank you both for this information.

I have replicated this issue on our test machines and have asked our development team to investigate further.

Many thanks,

Cheers, manually adding an enable action works okay.
