I don't know whether this query belongs here or in the Advanced section.

I constructed a page-driven slideshow in Opus 6.4. It contained 10 pages with a timeline on each page that linked spoken audio to showing script on the screen, i.e. script would appear and the audio would be played. When I went to publish it as a video it initially appeared to work then I got errors stating that DWfile2.dll and DWDSVideo.dll could not be found and that I should re-install Opus or contact the vendor. Both files are in the Opus and Opus Viewer directories. Re-setting the register with ctrl+alt did not resolve the problem. Jpg files of the errors are shown below.

The program published as a stand-alone .exe file without problem and previewed without any faults. I really need it as a video file so that I can distribute it as a DVD. It runs for about 20 minutes.

I've read about this problem somewhere on the Forum but have been unable to locate it again. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Paul

Mack

Many thanks for your help, it is very much appreciated. I'll try the solution you posted previously and contact DW Support for a new DWDSVideo.dll file.

Paul

PS: Thanks Mack your solution worked a treat.
