I have a publication that is used to collect information from the visitor using text boxes. the information is saved to a csv file. After the data is collected they are taken to a "thank you" page.

On clicking a button the publication is then returned to the data entry page, but I am unable to get the page to refresh and leave all the text fields blank ready for the next user

can anyone help/

tanks, Jon

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The easiest way to do this would be using the 'Reset All Variables' action (this is found under the Variables group of Programming actions).

You could apply this action to an On Show trigger on the data entry page, but the previous information may be momentarily visible, which is obviously not acceptable. I would therefore recommend applying this Reset All Variable action just before the Go To Page action which returns to the data entry page. This should ensure that the input fields are clear before the page is shown.

If there are any variables which you do not want to be reset, you will need to use several Set Variable actions which reset the appropriate variables to their default blank text values.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Kind regards,
