Is it possible to operate in the windows mixer in an application made with opus?
I can open the mixer using a command but operation is another story for me as a starter.

What i like to do is interrupt an internet radiostation and play some audiofiles.
The music from the browser must stop and my own file needs to be heard.
Is the mixer option the best option to do this?

Kind Regards,
Linda

Hi Linda,

I think Opus only manages sounds included in a publication and doesn't have direct control of the mixer for other applications. That said, Opus can mange other applications in a number of ways including though the command line; launching executables and DLLs.

If this is for a personal project, then you could use something like AutoIT but be warned it does generate AV false positives and probably is inadvisable to use in commercial applications where a DLL would be much better.

Regards,

Mack
