I am going spare to sort out what is happening with my publication here.

Basically, it is a front end to load several free programs, and to play 6 FLV videos.

Each video has a selector button, which opens a page for that video. That works fine.

The page for each video has PLAY, STOP, NEXT and PREVIOUS video buttons.

They all work fine for the first three videos. But for the second three, the PLAY button goes to the publication EXIT page.

Needless to say, the 'code' - or instructions - in the properties box is identical for each, except of course a different video is selected.

So what could possibly be sending three of them to the exit page, while the other three play as expected?

I'd attach the development file - but can't see how here ...

I'd appreciate any ideas and suggestions here ... I've been labouring on this far too long!

Hi Mike,

I'm going to be mean! If you are going to post questions, then you need to add a user profile (User Control Panel - right side top! It might not be necessary for all debugging but does save wasted / unsuitable responses.

Do that, then find a file upload site and post the troublesome IMP and I'm sure people will be happy to take a look. I have let DW know that their uploading has vanished!

Not mean at all! My mistake - I thought I had completed all that information. Done now (I hope enough!)

The file can be found here on this page -

http://www.mikeshaw.co.uk/private.htm

The six videos are all flv files. The first three in the list play OK. The last three simply go to 'exit' page (as does 'stop' on those three pages. Equally baffling).

I hope you find my stupid slaphead mistake! It is really mystifying me.

Okay, I promise not to laugh...

but you've attached a left mouse click trigger to the last three pages with an exit action. Because the buttons have pass through clicks, you're triggered both.

Simply right click on the page icon in the tree; go to edit actions and remove the trigger.

Ummm. You may laugh your head off, I shall hide my head in shame....

I am truly grateful that you spotted my, umm, stupid boob. Thanks thanks and thanks again!

I wonder how I did that... no matter - I'm very thankful you found it so quickly. I have to say I would never even have looked at the page itself.

I feel quite thick now... :-(
