I made a button, add the action "Launch e-mail", set the TO: to my e-mail adress,
set some text in the subject input, some text in the message box. turned off the Prompt MAPI ... and turn on the Show Mail Dialog.
When i test it nothing happends. When i turn on the Prompt MAPI option a login screen pops up.
Am i doing something wrong?

What MAPI program are you using?

Outlook Express was removed from Windows back in the Vista Edition and replaced with Windows Mail. This was then removed from Se7en altogether and unless you've have installed a replacement Opus won't find anything to handle the protocol.

Check you default program settings.

Control Panel > Default Programs > Set Your Default Programs > (your client) > Choose Defaults For This Program

It does work fine, if set up correctly - I use Outlook under W7x64.
