I want to illustrate some effects of acid rain using a fir tree with leaves/needles that will change from green (healthy) through brown to transparent (dead) thus showing a bare trunk and branches.
Using coreldraw I have tree with a trunk and branch as one vector and three vector objects (closed) representing regions of foliage (upper, middle & lower) which I want to change from green to transparent .
Can I perform the individual colour changes from within Opus Pro or do I need to import and position 10 individual vectors (trunk +3 regions*3 colours)?

Or is there a simple way of achieving the effect that I have tried to describe?

Export from Coreldraw as an wmf. Import into Opus as a vector.
You can edit the individual vectors inside Opus.

cheers

Hi David.
Thanks for including a Profile for system and program information.

Take a look at this forum posting... while it does not answer your question directly, I think it will point you in the right direction while also filling in with a few tips for the vector import into Opus. That particular Post addresses some issues regarding outputting the Pub to Flex (Flash) -- in case that is what you plan for Pub Type.

You can also search the forum further for those keywords above.
If I knew the answer, I would answer more directly.
Good luck.

p.s., has global warming caused us to have only '3' Seasons now? :P

p.s.2 -- after you've proved the basic transform works, you may want to play with the new Tween feature of Opus v7 -- could yield some nice effects. (I don't recall if tween works in Flex).
