I'm stumped on a really simply one:
Polygon_21_.Fade(-10)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-20)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-30)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-40)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-50)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-60)
Polygon_21_.Fade(-70)

I've tried every variant w/wo time and waits and still get nothing but:
Page_1,Water[93] [1] : Function Not Found : Check spelling and capitalisation

The tool tip shows a different order (time, wat, transp) from the Opus Script Help file...but that isn't working either.

Fade isn't a Polygon method, it belongs to it's parent - the vector.

Thank you, sir.
That ocurred to me, but help referred to "object," if a vector is not an object, what is the correct terminilogy?

Dave
PS - Changed the object to to "Water," which is the parent of the polygon. I get no error, but nothing happens. Did you mean that polygons cannot be operated on? I am simply trying to have a fill go from a "cold" color to a "warm" color.

OK, got it. Removed the fill from the polygon and applied to the parent.

Could use a tip for us basic types in the docs...it is not intuitive.

Both the vector (parent) and polygons (children) are objects. But not all objects have the same methods and properties.

Vectors should be able to fade, but if you want to change colour on the polygon try SetFillColour.

Thanks again...as you may notice above I figured a way to get it to work.

So, "SetFillColor" would do the same directly to the polygon?

Yes, either enter a colour name such as 'red' or use an RGB value.
