Welcome, Atak

maybe... Read this previous post. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3152&hilit=opusscript+database

I make a choice not to spend too much time responding for this post due to... not enough information, post should be in 'advanced section', and no system/version/profile/background info given. Please see following to attract better response. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3514&hilit=newbie

When using OpusPro, there are usually many ways to achieve a solution. It helps to have more information about what you have achieved so far, what is the intended application/objective, and how you are presently 'stuck'.

Hi Atak,
I'm guessing here, but are you referring to Lotus 123?? in which case I'm not sure if you will be able to link to the database using ODBC. I have just looked and I don't see an ODBC driver for 123??? there may be drivers available on the web?? or it might work using the excel ODBC if you can save your 123 spreadsheet as an excel *.xls file??

For a first time user, I would use actions rather than scripting. The basics is to create a button, then attach a trigger, such as mouse left button click, then you attach an action. The first thing you have to do is to attach a database query action and that is where you will be prompted to create a DSN which will require an ODBC link to the database. Sounds complicated, but it is quite straightforward. You have a bit of learning to do, but it is worth it. Opus is excellent for this type of application.

If you reply....as Lar suggests, put a bit more detail of what you are trying to do and you will get lots of help. Don't worry about your English :-)

Sandy

Look at my example and help, how to get to the fourth record in a database. There are two previous and next buttons, and my. My button does not work.

can you attach your application? witout that it is very difficult to see what the problem might be.
What you are trying to do should be straightforward.
