I am working on an application that shows textfiles from different sources.
To show them the user clicks on a buton to open the file and then it will be displayed in a text object.
So far very basic, but what i like to make as the option to drop a text file direct from the explorer
into a dropzone that opens the textfile.
Much more professional and better looking, but can it be done in opus?
Like to hear from one of you.

If I understand what you are asking? ......This can be done by creating a browser object and dragging and dropping the text file from windows explorer.

What a novel idea! I shall have to try this. As Opus accepts command line parameters, it's possible to pass file details using the Open With in Windows, but you'd think that a similar concept should be possible with having it recognize when a file is dropped?

I've never used it before, but it could be handy. Works with docview as well. You can drag in pictures as well, so that is more interesting to me. I haven't looked to see you can then do anything with the images in the object.
