Have found the same.
Seems to be bitmaps within frames that get effected. Outside of frame are OK.

Hi, I haven't experience this problem. I have done a test using all the most common graphic format and I do not get any pixelation. Have you checked your compression setup for pictures?
Cheers

Can anyone please provide an example or screenshot of this? I cannot see any issue with images in frames.
When reporting suspected issues please provide as much technical information as possible (at least operating system, colour depth and Opus version) and if possible an example, otherwise it is very difficult to reproduce the problems. Thank you.

A quick update before I retire for the day.
Here is a small section of the screen.
Should look like:

Actually looks like:

Is this in preview or a published file? Can you give us your system details? (Primarily operating system, screen mode and colour depth) and, if possible, the steps required to reproduce this? I cannot get images in frames to display this issue - and looking at your screenshot it is affecting the text too, so something odd must be going on. Are you scaling the image or page in any way?

- From preview, but the same when published though.
- WinXP SP1, 1280x1024, 32 bit depth

From the screen grabs, only bitmaps, no text.
And I never scale images.

Sorry , getting close to midnight. Gotta go to bed.
Shall check back again in the morning.

OK, we have found the cause (though not a proper solution yet). If the frame is an odd height (i.e. is not divisible by 2) then the display of images is incorrect. As a short term measure if you make the frame height even it will display correctly. We are looking into the code to see what has changed in this regard and how to fix it properly.

Hi Duncan,

I experienced the same problem too, (only once) but found that using "Fit-to-Contents" seemed to resolve the problem. (as I make sure the native size of the image is displayed accordingly)

Past midnight here, so will check out the frame details later.

We have now found and fixed the problem. SR2 has been taken down for now and we will post a revised version as soon as possible.

The revised version of SR2 (Version 04.21) and the accompanying notes are now available. The patch will upgrade all previous 04.xx releases (including the original SR2). The patch is available from:

http://www.digitalworkshop.com/downloads/index.shtml

If you experience any problems with the patch we advise that you uninstall the Opus product and reinstall from the original media before attempting to apply the patch.

Note; there is no separate 04.20 to 04.21 patch as it is almost as large as the full patch.

All calm on the homefront again. Patch works fine.
Good prompt service.

Bet it made ya sweat for a bit ...

BTW - so does this mean the XE release for the Evolution subscribers is effected by the same bug if downloaded already (as I have) ?

That is correct, but the new patch should fix that version of XE too (I hope - Duncan will probably shout at me tomorrow if I'm wrong  ).
