Hi

I am trying to set up text input boxes as labels which, after the user enters text, they can drag and drop these label boxes to screen drop-locations that they choose. The difficulty is that text input boxes command focus, causing the cursor to flash inside them once they are left clicked--the same left-click needed to drag and drop the box.

I haven't been able to come up with any way to drag and drop these text input boxes and hope someone can suggest a work-a-round, if it is possible.

Kind Regards,

Set it up so the text input box populates a variable. When the the user is done inputting text, have them they click a button that hides the text input and shows a text object showing the contents of that variable. They should be able to drag and drop that then.

Hi Tom

Thanks for your reply.

As I think this through, your solution may be just right!, I'll give it a try.

Currently, there are 60 text input/label boxes on one page, saving text entered to variables, then their static text versions are in a multiframe on the page where they can be dragged and dropped.

What I can try is to add the text input boxes, interlaced with their static counterparts into the multiframe, then after each has text entered, could hide it, allowing the static one to be dragged/dropped, leaving the next text input box underneath to show, ready for its text entry, etc.

Thanks.

Kind Regards,
