Hi,
I used Opus Pro 6.4 to create DVD presentation of Classical Opera.
I cut my chapters, build my menu. Nothing too complicated (an Intro and a Menu with buttons to launch videos).
My problem is when I want to export it in DVD format. All the process seems to be good, but it always ends up by :

Previously, I had the problem about XML Parse error, and solve it by replacing exotic characters in path/name of files... :)

I tried to let Opus re-encode the videos, no difference... :(

For infos : I used DVDShink to convert my DVD into ISO and cut chapters, then FairUse Wizard to embedd subtitles.
My videos are in MPEG Format.
I also try to do it with the trial of Opus 7 (update to 7.05), nothing more... :|

I'll really appreciate some help.

Thanx in advance.

Riki.

What are you using to create the MPEG files?

Hi, and thanx for replying (forgive my poor English : I'm from Paris !... )
I used FairUse to create my XViD+sub and Opus to convert'em into MPEG...

Better than my French :-)

Although it may be possible to get Opus to produce DVDs using any input video format, personally, I would ensure that the video is good quality, compatible MPEG 1 or 2.

My suggestion (though it may be affected by your system / software) is to create the DVD MPEG2 standard videos using something like Vegas Movie Studio (MainConcept's codec) and simply have Opus build the DVD without transcoding.

Regards,

Mack

Nah, the aspect ratio error always seems to appear, even on success. You need to work out whether it's your system or the publication.

Try creating a blank DVD, no videos, just one normal page.

If this works, try it with with a video page and using a range of videos including some from your project.

If all this works, then it seems likely, that something is a miss with the publication and you'll need to start stripping it down to debug it.
