Help!

I've installed Service Release 4.02 on my home machine, and now I can't start Opus.

The splash screen is slow to appear, and the programme window proper starts to draw, then hangs, and I get the nice Microsoft message advising me that it's found a problem and needs to close Opus, which it unceremoniously proceeds to do.

Anyone else experienced this?

I still have v2.81 installed separately, and that continues to work O.K.

Running Windows XP SP1 on a 3.2 Intel Extreme CPU, 4Gb RAM, Matrox Parhelia 256 Mb Graphics & dual TFT monitors. All drivers current.

Chris

I think I've sorted it - I had to uninstall the whole thing and start again, but omitting Service Release 4.01.

It seems to be all right now.

Hi chris,
I had the same problem--P4-XP SR2.
I guess it's usually best to rip it down to the bare bones first.
cheers
Paul
