Dang. I feel like I just started...

Just figured out the hyperlink issue and tested. Flex publish a black screen. Same on another computer. Both have flash enabled.

I am including the whole pub, since it is just the start of an article I am writing for the E-Learning Guild site and is pretty small.

Please try and see what you get.

Dave

Installed 7.6. Still a black screen on flex publications. Further, video pause isn't working. It always resets the video (this is in preview, since as I mentioned the published program only shows a black screen).

Crikey, I feel like I've reverted 10 years of experience and revisions.

H Dave,

I think you mean 7.06. The 7.5 version is a developers release and not public.

The stage is too big. Try reducing it to 2600px.

As for the video, no sorry it doesn't pause on FLVs. Maybe in v8 :-? I'll need to check but SWF might work.

Mack

My mistake. You are correct, sir. It was 7.06.

Gotcha on the screen size limits. I estimated from the size of the pages used on the target site. Didn't get a warning, however. Probably should add that to the next build list.

I understand the issues with flv...just didn't think. I am not a big flash fan but am using it so as to avoid any plugin issues and such for the editor for this piece. I suppose I am stuck with the no pause as I assume you can't play a wmv or other format in Flash output?

Doggonit...
So I figured I am all set.

Do hyperlinks not work in Flex?

They work fine in preview, but nada in the published version.

I don't think I recall ever having more headaches with a very simple project...
