I have created a pub in Opus flex and all seems fine until I publish
The Launch web page works in preview - but not when published???
Has anyone had any success using this?

Also - I want to launch a powerpoint presentation from the completed pub - but this does not appear to be an option in Flex
Does anyone have a workaround??

Many thanks

Pete

Managed to get the launch web page to work - however the Adobe Flash Security "barrier" is going to take casualties....
If anyone has a workaround that (I suspect not) I would be delighted to hear.

Re launching a powerpoint presentation from a button within flex - that would be great to achieve too - if anyone has any tips?

Many thanks

Pete

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr - spoke to soon

Pub created on Windows 7 will launch web page after published - albeit it throws up the Flash security hurdle.
(However works flawlessly in preview???)

ON windows vista - works flawlessly in preview - will not launch web page after published....

So - if any one has any suggestions???

Many thanks

Pete

This always works for me:

getURL("URL", "target");

target is the same as in HTML - so if you want to launch in a new window, you would use _blank

as for launching something else as far as I know you'd have to use FSCommand. Exec usually requires that you launch an .exe file, but I believe it will work on .bat files, so maybe you could create a .bat file that would launch your Powerpoint file and then launch the .bat file via FSCommand?
