Hi everybody,
I am a happy user in Sweden but I have a little problem!
In a program I ask for a password in a input box and secured by asterix(*).
This is 3 times possible. But everytime the inputbox comes back, the old input ********* is still there
What can I do to making it emty when appearing again?
Thanks on forehand,
Boyd

Hi,

I am using Opus Pro 7, so I am not sure if the attached sample will help with Creator.

If possible, take a look at the attached IMP file.

The primary action to re-create an empty text input (password) box is to set the variable you are using to store the password (in the text input box) to "", after each attempt to enter password text into that text input box.

In Opus Pro this can be done by selecting the Programming tab for an object, then select Variables, then Set Variable, select the password variable that is storing the password and then leave it blank (make no further selection). It should show the variable as "".

If you can open the attached IMP file, you will be able to see how this is set up.

Hope this helps.
